Our next pet vaccination clinic has been scheduled for April 14th from 5-7 PM.  Attached is the flyer for the events. If you don’t needs shots, but need flea and tick or heartworm meds we can make arrangements so you don’t have to wait in line. I will have the prices of those meds 2 days before the clinic.

Re:                  Earth Hour this Saturday

Dear Neighbor:

Please join me and the City of Austin ­‑­- and conservation-minded folks around the world — in turning off your lights for Earth Hour, as a powerful visible reminder of the need for energy conservation.

Earth Hour is one hour — 8:30 to 9:30 PM – this Saturday, March 26.

Please forward this request to your neighbors, including neighborhood businesses, and encourage them to join you in Earth Hour.  We hope to see whole neighborhoods go dark. Join City Hall and many other City facilities and private buildings –­ including the Frost Bank Tower and the UT Tower – that have pledged to turn off their lights for Earth Hour.

Please also consider spending Earth Hour talking with your children, family, friends and neighbors about small changes you can make in your daily life, to consume less energy.

Earth Hour is a global event that symbolizes the need for people to pull together to address climate change. The City of Austin is joining green leaders around the globe in this reminder of the need for environmental stewardship, conservation and climate action. Last year, our city joined with 4,615 other municipalities around the globe, in 128 countries and territories.

Global climate disruption can seem like an overwhelming problem; participating in Earth Hour is one great example of the small, positive individual actions we each can take.
